Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to win 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the world title for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles as well as the younger of her sisters Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started at age six, during a trip with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman's guidance until the year 2011. Biles received a silver medal for vault and also a medal in floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began playing in elite levels of the sport. Biles was a dominant athlete within a mere two years. Biles was notable for her consistently high performance and exuberant character, as well as the difficulty she encountered across all four events such as vaulting, uneven bars, and balance beam.
